The 200-year-old Shaker chair factory can accommodate up to 220 for dinner and dancing. The chair factory can provide a rain plan for your ceremony, cocktail party, and reception.
THE CHAIR FACTORY
THE MOROCCAN BAR
We discovered a stone- and brick-walled cellar beneath the main floor of the chair factory, and it called to us to break with the past. Our Moroccan Bar opens to a terrace with mountain views. The bar is made from recycled Shaker doors, balusters, and an old Shaker railing. The space can accommodate up to 230 guests for a standing cocktail hour or 75 people for a seated dinner. It's also perfect for an after party.
THE MOROCCAN BAR TERRACE
Our Moroccan Bar opens to a terrace with mountain views. The bar is made from recycled Shaker doors, balusters, and an old Shaker railing. The space can accommodate up to 230 guests for a standing cocktail hour or 75 people for a seated dinner. It's also perfect for an after party.
Transport yourself to the Shaker’s past while celebrating under the sun or stars. Inside the 200-year-old stone barn, you’ll hear the rush of a nearby brook tumbling over Sassafras Falls while 400 votive candles flicker in the walls. Maximum capacity for seated dining is 100. Host a ceremony for up to 150.
THE RUINS
Host your ceremony or cocktail party in the Rose Dwelling while musicians play from the alcove. Up to 230 for a ceremony. The antique window frame makes a lovely arbor for a floral arrangement.
THE ROSE DWELLING
You’ll swear you’re in Tuscany as you gaze at the awe-inspiring views of the Berkshire and Taconic Mountains and stunning sunsets. It is the perfect place to host a rehearsal dinner or brunch for up to 50 people.
THE STONE HOUSE TERRACE
We planted a grass quilt to honor the Shaker women who sewed in the Sister’s Workshop. Host a ceremony for up to 100, or provide an outdoor cigar bar for your guests.
THE SISTERS WORKSHOP
A backdrop of wild flowers surrounds you as your guests watch the ceremony under the shade of a weeping willow. The arbor is permanently installed for your ceremony. Up to 250 guests.
DEERE POND
The Tennis Lawn provides a spectacular view of both the Stone House and Chair Factory towering overhead with the ruins, stream, pond and mountains in the distance. The grass lawn can be tented for up to 250. A breathtaking location for a ceremony or set up lawn games for your guests.
